Definitely. I've spoken with a couple other users and this would be a great way to quickly send out messages to groups of people, as well as a perfect way to deliver reminders to people about events. One example of the first usage would be something like a worship rehearsal that needs to be rescheduled to 30 minutes later...sending an email message to the band members an hour before wouldn't be adequate, as most people wouldn't check their email in time, but a text message would alert them immediately and let them know about the change.

The delivery would have to be delivered via an email to peoples' cell phone numbers as email addresses. So, basically, people's records would need to record their cell phone carrier in their form, and then Stafftool can put the appropriate email addresses together from there. However, this will most likely require the members themselves to edit their information and provide their cell phone carrier, since it's not something that can be deduced by other means. We'd also probably have to set up some sort of preferences for if they want to receive text messages, and what types if so.
